Duck & Chicken Sanctuary

We provide a safe and supportive home for ducks and chickens who are no longer able to remain in their previous environment.

Whether they have been abandoned, surrendered, rescued, or found in unsafe conditions, we work to give them a place where they can live with proper care.

Injured & Sick Bird Care

Some of the animals that come to us need additional support because they are sick, injured, or recovering from difficult circumstances.

We strive to provide them with a calm environment where they can receive appropriate care and have the opportunity to recover.

Rescue & Safe Placement

Birds may sometimes be found abandoned near ponds, roads, neighborhoods, or other areas where they cannot safely survive on their own.

THE FEATHERED EGG offers a place where rescued ducks and chickens can receive shelter, food, care, and protection.

Home for Unwanted Birds

Circumstances change, and sometimes owners are no longer able to care for their ducks or chickens.

When possible, we provide a safe sanctuary for birds who need somewhere new to live.

Bred & Hatched With Care

In addition to our sanctuary work, we breed and hatch our own ducks.

The ducks available through THE FEATHERED EGG are bred and hatched by us, allowing us to be closely involved throughout their earliest stages of life.

Our goal is to raise healthy ducks in a caring environment and connect them with people who are prepared to provide them with responsible, long-term care.
