Here at our poultry sanctuary, every bird has a story.
Some were abandoned. Some were neglected. Some arrived injured, frightened, or simply unwanted.
But when they come through our gates, their story changes.
Instead of being treated like they don't matter, they're given something every animal deserves: safety, care, and time to heal.
We rescue chickens and ducks who need a second chance and give them a place where they can simply be birds.
They get nutritious food, clean water, safe shelter, veterinary care when they need it, and room to explore and socialize with their flock.
And honestly, watching them transform is one of the most rewarding parts.
A scared bird who once wouldn't come near you might eventually walk right up to say hello.
A duck who arrived weak and frightened can become the happiest little water-loving troublemaker.
A chicken who had spent her life being overlooked can finally spend her days scratching in the grass, soaking up the sunshine, and making friends.
That's what sanctuary means to us.
It's not just about rescuing an animal from a bad situation.
It's about giving them the opportunity to experience what life can be when they're safe.
Every feathered resident here matters.
Every personality matters.
Every quirky little habit matters.
And every time we see a rescued duck splashing in the water or a chicken happily scratching through the grass, we're reminded why we started.
Because their past may have been difficult... but their future can be peaceful.
